Introducing the Postmark Add-On

Jeff Matson By Jeff Matson Published November 15, 2018

Postmark Add-On Release

As you may have noticed, we’ve been working hard to solve an issue that many WordPress users all over the world face: sending email notifications. Often times, emails being sent from within the web server that’s hosting the site can be marked as spam or blocked entirely. With that said, we’re proud to announce Postmark as the third entry to our push for better form notifications.

Why Postmark?

Like we mentioned with the release of the Mailgun and SendGrid add-ons, these solutions allow Gravity Forms users to more reliably send form notifications by utilizing a dedicated email service like Postmark instead of sending mail unreliably through their web host. By routing email notifications through a dedicated service, the reliance on the web server is entirely eliminated.

Not only does Postmark make form notifications more reliable, they also make them more useful for keeping better track of things as well. By using Postmark, users will also benefit from things like statistics and email tracking built right in. Need to know if your form notifications are actually being opened instead of ignored? Postmark email tracking has you covered.

What’s Next?

As for email notification add-ons, that’s all for now. We feel that with the three solutions we’ve released, the overwhelming majority of users have excellent options for fast and reliable email services. Of course, if there’s another service you’d love to see supported, let us know!

When it comes to other add-ons, we have some great things coming your way, with yet another release coming in just a few weeks. Stay tuned on Facebook and Twitter! You’re going to love this one!

We Love Feedback!

One of the biggest reasons for developing the recent email notification add-ons was due to feedback from the millions of Gravity Forms users all over the world. Feedback from our users is incredibly valuable in making those critical decisions on how Gravity Forms should evolve in the future.

Is there a feature or add-on you would like to see? Let us know in the comments below!
