Gravity Forms v1.6 Release Candidate 2 Released

Gravity Forms v1.6 Release Candidate 2 is now available for download. This release fixes a bug with the new duplicate field functionality that impacts forms where certain field types (Ex.Drop Down fields) have been duplicated along with some other bug fixes and minor enhancements.

Thank you to the users who have contributed bug reports, we look forward to continue receiving feedback from users who are participating in the testing.

Please provide beta feedback and bug reports on the Support Forum and make it clear you are referring to the 1.6 Release Candidate 2 release when doing so. Thanks!

What’s New

  • Added ID attribute to the “Add Form” link.
  • Added permission support to top toolbar so that only the appropriate links are displayed.
  • Added “gform_post_render” javascript hook to functions to bound to every form render on AJAX enabled forms.
  • Updated Chosen script and localized the “No results matched” text.
  • Changed editor “Update Form” button to do a full refresh instead of AJAX.
  • Fixed issue with Post Custom Field (Date field type) not honoring date format when storing post meta.
  • Fixed issue with the Duplicate field functionality.
  • Fixed issue when exporting list fields.
  • Fixed issue with formatting and total calculation of the Swiss Franc currency.
  • Fixed issue with field delete icon not being displayed.
  • Dynamically calculating WordPress root directory on files that are loaded outside the WP context (i.e. preview.php, select_columns.php).
