Brand New Release: Mailchimp Add-On v5.0

Gravity Forms By Gravity Forms Published September 29, 2021

New Update

Gravity Forms is pleased to announce an update to our Mailchimp Add-On. The release of Mailchimp v5.0 sees an update to the add-on’s authentication process, which will now use Oauth to connect to the Mailchimp API.

We recommend that you visit your Gravity Forms Mailchimp Settings page in WordPress Admin to reauthorize your connection.

A Powerful Email Marketing Platform

Gravity Forms is the best possible tool you can use for lead generation. But the collection of email addresses on your website is only half the story.

Once a form has been submitted, best practise is to get the email address out of your WordPress dashboard and into an email marketing provider or CRM as quickly as possible – you can then begin the process of nurturing each lead gathered and converting them into customers.

Mailchimp is one of the most popular add-ons among our Gravity Forms community, and it’s easy to see why. With a wide assortment of features, an extremely user-friendly dashboard, extensive support resources, and free and premium pricing structures, Mailchimp is a great option for anyone looking to engage their audience through email marketing.

Integrate Gravity Forms Seamlessly with Mailchimp

Our Mailchimp Add-On integrates Gravity Forms seamlessly with Mailchimp, allowing you to send data from submitted forms directly to your Mailchimp account.

Key features of this add-on include:

  • Segment Your Mailing List – Automatically tag, segment, and group users from within your WordPress dashboard, enabling you to send personalized email campaigns based on form submission data.
  • Custom Fields — Capture any field in your form and map it to a custom field in Mailchimp, allowing you to transfer the data that you need.
  • Double Opt-In – Automatically send double opt-in messages to ensure only engaged and legitimate subscribers are added to your audience.
  • GDPR Compliance – Use conditional logic and the Consent field to ensure your forms are GDPR compliant.
  • Conditional Logic — Only add users to your selected Mailchimp audience if they meet certain conditions, giving you further control over the leads that are sent to your mailing list.
