Gravity Forms Polls Add-On v1.0 Beta 1 Released
By Carl Hancock Published August 8, 2012We are excited to announce that the Gravity Forms Polls Add-On v1.0 Beta 1 has been released and is now available to Developer License owners. This Add-On adds a new Poll Field to Gravity Forms and allows you to utilize the power of Gravity Forms to conduct polls on your WordPress powered site.
Using the Poll Field you can quickly deploy polls on any Gravity Form simply by adding the Poll Field to the form. The Poll Field allows you to ask the user a question and present choices for them to select from as a drop down, radio button or checkbox field.
With the Polls Add-On you can create everything from a simple poll that is presented in a sidebar widget where the user can view the results, to multiple poll questions presented as part of a product order form where the user never views the results but the results will be visible in the entry details for that form submission.
The Gravity Forms Polls Add-On will be integrated into the Gravity Forms shortcode wizard prior to the final 1.0 release. For now, you must manually insert the Poll shortcode or utilize the Poll widget in order to force a form containing a Poll Field to behave as a Poll rather than a standard form. For more information you can consult the documentation.
