Since releasing Gravity Forms 2.9, we’ve been thrilled by the positive feedback from our community. This update brings a host of new and exciting features, and who better to explain them than the talented individuals behind the release!

You get so much extra flexibility with the new Multiple Choice and Image Choice fields.

“My favorite thing about Gravity Forms 2.9 is that you get so much extra flexibility with the new Multiple Choice and Image Choice fields.
With the Radio and Checkbox fields, if you change the field choices after entries have been submitted for a form, your old entries will break. For example, if you delete one of the choices, all of the old entries where users had selected that choice will no longer include that choice.
The new Multiple Choice and Image Choice fields do not have this problem! You can add, remove, and re-order choices, and your existing entries will not be affected.”

With Orbital in the Form Editor, any sites using it on their forms will have a substantially more true-to-life preview of the final product. This feature has been long-requested from our power users, and it feels awesome to be able to provide them a way to save all kinds of time.”

How to Update to Gravity Forms 2.9
Gravity Forms 2.9 is now available to all customers with an active license!
Simply open your WordPress dashboard, head over to your plugins page, and click to update now.
Gravity Forms 2.9 can also be downloaded directly from your Gravity Forms account dashboard.
And of course, the latest version of Gravity Forms is available to all new customers. Simply head over to our pricing page to pick the right plan for your form building needs and make a purchase.
Note: Caching and script optimization plugins and services have been known to cause problems with the functionality of forms when Gravity Forms is updated to the latest version. To counter this issue, we recommend clearing/flushing the caches and the browser cache following all updates.
