Gravity Forms v1.7.12 Released

Carl Hancock By Carl Hancock Published November 7, 2013

Gravity Forms v1.7.12 is now available via automatic update and the downloads page. This is a maintenance release that also implements some backwards compatibility with form forms created using the Gravity Forms v1.8 beta. We recommend that all users update as soon as possible as it is important for WordPress users to always keep WordPress, plugins and themes up to date.

What’s New in Gravity Forms v1.7.12

  • Fixed non localized text “Insert Form” (displays when adding a form to a page/post).
  • Fixed issue with file upload fields when upload files without an extension.
  • Fixed issue when truncating text with multi-byte characters.
  • Fixed issue when loading JSON serialized forms (i.e. forms created with v. 1.8).
  • Fixed notice thrown in function selection_display when value is not an array.
  • Fixed notice thrown when displaying form description and there isn’t one.
  • Fixed notice thrown when setting url for redirect when none specified.
  • Fixed issue with form import not importing checkbox item IDs correctly (by skipping the multiples of 10).
  • Fixed issue with Form Settings & Notification subviews overflow past bottom of wpwrap causing adminmenu to appear shorter on scroll.
  • Fixed issue with date field not resetting to default value correctly when hidden by conditional logic.

You can update to the latest version of Gravity Forms using Automatic Update. Just visit the Updates page under the Forms navigation in your WordPress Dashboard. Update deployment is staged so if you do not see the update available, try again in a few hours. You can also download the latest version of the plugin from the Downloads page.

Please Note: Automatic Update will only work if you have correctly entered your License Key in the Settings page of Gravity Forms in your WordPress Dashboard.
