What’s New in Gravity Forms v1.9 Beta 5

  • Added HTML5 support for date field when configured with input type “date field”.
  • Added the {save_token} merge tag to allow custom resume links to be constructed.
  • Added gform_form_args hook to allow modification of the options used to display the form.
  • Added support for :title, :caption, and :description modifiers to Post Image field merge tag.
  • Updated select, radio and checkbox type pricing fields to use 0 for price if choice price is blank, preventing validation error.
  • Fixed issue where entry object was getting passed to gform_after_submission without payment information.
  • Fixed an issue where exporting lead data for checkbox fields did not work when the choice label included quotes.
  • Fixed an issue with list field shim when RTL was enabled.
  • Fixed an issue with section breaks getting displayed on {all_fields_display_empty} even when hidden by conditional logic.
  • Fixed an issue with the results page where the ‘show more’ link retrieves duplicate values if some values of that field are empty.
  • Fixed an issue with the field filters where clicking on the add button creates two empty filters instead of one.
  • Fixed issue with RTL support for enhanced-UI-enabled fields.
  • Fixed an issue with the multi-file upload field where the paths to the uploaded files can get removed from the entry if a third party add-on processes the entry before Gravity Forms. This fixes a compatibility issue with the Gravity Perks Conditional Logic Perk.
  • Fixed issue with total field not refreshing field value cache when saved.
  • Fixed conflict with WP-reCAPTCHA plugin.
  • Fixed a compatibility issue with ACF PRO in the wp visual editor.
  • Fixed an issue with the file upload field on certain server configurations where the following error might be generated: “an error occurred while processing this directive”.
  • Fixed a security issue with the file upload field.
  • Fixed an issue with the shortcode builder which prevented the placeholder from being selectable in select type attributes. This affects the action drop-down.
