We’re committed to helping you reach every member of your community by giving you the tools to create fully accessible forms directly in WordPress.

Committed to Accessibility.

With Gravity Forms 2.5, you have access to the most accessible form builder on the market. Our plugin gives you everything you need to comply with government standards for Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) standards set by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

Compliant labels and controls —

Form Labels with Controls.

A label describes the function of a form control (i.e. text area, checkbox, radio button, menu, etc.) and typically appears adjacent to it. Sighted users make the connection visually, but others rely on software to read the form control label notated in the code.

Trusted expertise —

We’ve tapped the leading experts to help us level up our accessibility game.

To start our process of improved accessibility, we engaged the digital agency of Level Level in order to get an initial view of what was expected, and the areas that most desired improvement. They partnered us with their senior accessibility consultant, Rian Rietveld, who has an excellent reputation in this space.

To accelerate our process, we brought in digital agency Level Level to scope out the work we had ahead of us. Their senior accessibility consultant, Rian Rietveld, served as commander for our mission, bringing highly respected expertise and the highest standard for accessibility and inclusion.

Rian began with an initial assessment of the front-end of our Gravity Forms core plugin in 2019, taking us through a list of suggested improvements and helping us form them into a roadmap. She also provided training for our design and product teams, helping us to deepen our culture of inclusion. Our collaboration is ongoing, with a continuous feedback loop of assessment and enhancement.

What to do if you find an accessibility issue:

If you have a Gravity Forms license, you can login and report the issue using the customer support form. Otherwise you can contact us using our contact form.

If a website accessibility audit has identified issues with your own form created with Gravity Forms, please let us know. We’ll be able to help you determine if the issues can be addressed by your team or if you need changes from us.
