Brand New Release: Geolocation Add-On 1.2
By Gravity Forms Published March 8, 2024We’re pleased to announce the release of the Gravity Forms Geolocation Add-On version 1.2. In this update, you’ll find a number of fixes, including…
- Fixed inconsistent capitalization in the no-conflict description.
- Fixed an issue where the user (submitter) location is not retained when paging an Ajax-enabled form.
Capture Location Data with Form Entry Submissions
If you’d like to receive location data with form entries automatically, the Gravity Forms Geolocation Add-On makes it possible. You can also improve the user experience by using the add-on to enable address autocomplete on your forms.
View Geolocation Data
Once enabled, the Geolocation Add-On will store location data for each form entry on your site. This gives you a quick way to view address information and the user’s longitude and latitude when they complete the form.
The add-on can also display a Google map for each form entry in the WordPress dashboard. This can be used to show the user’s location and give you a clear picture of where your users are based.
Address Autocomplete
Users can also choose to use the address autocomplete feature of the add-on if you decide to enable it. This should make completing forms on your site more convenient, helping to reduce form abandonment rates.
