Gravity Forms is pleased to announce the release of Gravity Flow version 2.9.12. This release contains several updates and fixes, including…

Build Powerful Workflow Automations in WordPress
Gravity Flow is a powerful Gravity Forms add-on for creating automated form-based workflows in WordPress. If you have form-based systems you’d like to automate, then Gravity Flow was built with you in mind. It’s also ideal for taking paper-based systems online.
Each workflow can be triggered by a form entry submission on your WordPress website. Once a workflow starts, the form entry moves through the predefined route of the workflow. As part of the workflow, form entries can be sent to specific users or groups of users for them to take action.
A vacation request process is one example of a workflow you could automate with Gravity Flow. In this example, once an employee uses the vacation request form, their form entry is sent to their supervisor for approval. If their request is approved, the form entry is then sent to HR to record the vacation.
Finally, the approved request and scheduled vacation confirmation are sent back to the person who made the request. If their initial request was rejected by their supervisor or HR, the form entry is sent back to the person who made the request for amendment.
That’s just one you could use Gravity Flow to create an automated form-based workflow in WordPress. You can build some truly advanced workflows by combining Gravity Flow with its library of add-ons and the add-ons available for Gravity Forms.
