Create Automated Workflows With Gravity Flow
Gravity Flow works with Gravity Forms to let you create custom automated workflows around your forms. The workflows are triggered by form entry submissions and they’re perfect for automating and streamlining your existing workflows or taking paper-based systems online.
Thanks to Gravity Flow’s 40 different types of action steps and library of extensions, you can create a wide range of workflows for your organization. Examples of workflows you can create with Gravity Forms and Gravity Flow include…
- Running multiple email drip campaigns that operate on different schedules.
- Implementing an automated employee vacation request workflow that requires input from HR.
- Automating payment collection workflows using Gravity Flow-supported payment processors, including Stripe and PayPal.
Add PDF Generation to Your Workflows
One of the extensions for Gravity Flow is the PDF Generator extension.
Once you’ve installed this extension, you can add automatic PDF generation to your workflows. The PDF creation step can be added at any point in a workflow, giving you full control over when the file is created.
Creating the PDF template is a user-friendly experience and is similar to how form notification emails are created. Merge tags are used to insert dynamic content into the PDF, such as the information that’s provided by users when they submit a form entry.
Like the other steps in your workflows, conditional logic can be used to determine whether or not a PDF is generated. This can be based on the content included in the form entry submission and actions taken during the workflow.
Once a PDF has been generated, it resides on the server. It can be downloaded at any point or automatically sent via email to a specific user or all users with specific roles as an attachment.
