Brand New Release: Gravity Forms 2.8.1
By Gravity Forms Published January 5, 2024We’re pleased to announce the release of Gravity Forms 2.8.1. This update contains a number of additions and fixes, including…
- Added support for conditional logic rules based on Survey fields for confirmations, notifications, and feeds.
- Fixed various warnings and notices in PHP 8.1 and 8.2.
Gravity Forms 2.8 – Introducing Compact View
The release of Gravity Forms 2.8 saw the addition of the Compact View feature.
When using version 2.8 and above, you can switch to Compact View when working on a form in our powerful drag-and-drop editor. Doing so gives you a streamlined overview of your form and its fields, labels, and other components.
If you’re working on a lengthy form, Compact View makes it much easier to navigate and make changes to your form.
To make this possible, Compact View lets you see more of your form without having to scroll up and down the page. Locating, editing, and moving form fields becomes much more efficient when working in Compact View.
Switching between the “shrunken” Compact View and the regular view only takes a few clicks and can be performed at any time in the form editor. Published forms will still look the same, regardless of whether or not Compact View was used during their creation.
Compact View is particularly useful if you’re creating forms with lots of fields or are working on a smaller screen. Thanks to the minimized view, those bigger forms with lots of components become much easier to interact with.
You can read the Contact View documentation for the full details on this new user-experiencing enhancing feature.
