Brand New Release: Gravity Forms 2.8.11
By Gravity Forms Published May 16, 2024We’re pleased to announce the release of Gravity Forms version 2.8.11. The release contains this fix…
- Fixed an issue where some forms are broken due a missing gform variable caused by recent changes to the Dom_Parser class.
Gravity SMTP Is Here!
Gravity SMTP, our stand-alone plugin for sending WordPress emails through trusted email-sending services, is available now.
If you have a Gravity Forms Elite license, you can start using Gravity SMTP to effortlessly set up the integration between your WordPress website and your choice of professional SMTP service.
This integration then handles sending all emails from your website, including WordPress admin emails, Gravity Forms notifications, and emails from any other plugins installed, such as WooCommerce.
Now, your site emails should be sent and delivered more reliably than if you were using the default WordPress email-sending functionality.
Thanks to the Gravity SMTP wizard, you can easily set up integrations with the following services:
- Brevo
- Mailgun
- Postmark
- Sendgrid
If your preferred SMTP service provider isn’t on the above list and is not supported by the wizard, you can still add the integration by using the custom integration option.
In addition to handling the integration, Gravity SMTP has some other useful features.
One is the logging area, which lets you see which emails have been sent, which plugins generated them, whether or not they were delivered, and more, all from your WordPress admin area.
Another notable feature is the testing tool that lets you check the integration and your site’s email-sending capabilities to ensure everything is set up correctly.

If you’d like to know what other integrations and features are on the horizon, the SMTP Roadmap has the relevant information.
And you can find in-depth information on how the plugin works in the Gravity SMTP documentation.
