Brand New Release - Gravity Forms 2.8.3

We’re pleased to announce an update to Gravity Forms. Version 2.8.3 is now available and ships with a number of additions and fixes including…

  • Added telemetry data points.
  • Fixed an issue where the honeypot was not working on forms using the Stripe Field with additional payment methods enabled.

Gravity Forms 2.8 – Introducing Compact View

New to Gravity Forms in version 2.8 and above is the Compact View feature.

At the touch of a button, you can switch to Compact View in the drag-and-drop form editor.

This new “minimized” view makes it much easier to get an overview of your forms, making this feature especially valuable if your forms contain lots of fields.

Switching between regular and Compact View only takes a few clicks, but the new streamlined view makes a big difference when it comes to navigating your forms. Finding the fields your forms contain, editing them, and moving them into new positions is now a much more user-friendly.

Adding new fields to your forms when working in Compact View is also often more convenient, especially if you’re using a smaller screen device or working on a lengthy form.

Using Compact View doesn’t have any effect on how your forms look when they’re published – it just gives you another way of working that some users will find more convenient.

The Gravity Forms documentation has more information on using Compact View.
