Brand New Release - Gravity SMTP 1.2.1

Gravity is pleased to announce the release of Gravity SMTP version 1.2.1. This release contains several updated and fixes, including…

  • Changed the default email log retention period to 7 days.
  • Fixed a deprecation notice for PHP 8.2 and dynamic properties.

Easy Migration From WP Mail SMTP to Gravity SMTP

A new feature of Gravity SMTP facilitates easy migration from WP Mail SMTP to Gravity SMTP.

Now, you can effortlessly switch to Gravity SMTP from WP Mail SMTP by using the new migration functionality built into the setup wizard.

Gravity SMTP will import your email service provider’s API key as part of the migration process. This saves you from having to log in to your email provider’s dashboard to find and re-paste the key manually.

You can view a walkthrough of the migration process in this blog post.

Key Gravity SMTP Features Include:

  • Integration Setup Wizard – Use the wizard to easily set up integrations with trusted email-sending services, including Brevo, Postmark, SendGrid, Mailgun, Google, and Microsoft.
  • Migration Tool – Effortlessly migrate from WP Mail SMTP to Gravity SMTP.
  • Custom SMTP Support – Quickly set up integrations with other providers via the custom SMTP panel.
  • Track Emails – The email logging feature lets you quickly see which emails have been sent from your site, with details covering the time and date, which plugin generated the email, the status of the email, and more.
  • Send Test Emails – Check your integration works correctly by sending test emails directly from your WordPress dashboard.

The Gravity SMTP documentation has more information on setting everything up and creating the integrations.
