Brand New Release-Mailgun Add-On 1.4

We’re pleased to announce an update for the Gravity Forms Mailgun Add-On. Version 1.4 of the add-on contains a number of additions and fixes, including…

  • Added support for CC and BCC values when sending a notification.
  • Updated the documentation link for verifying domains to a more helpful documentation page.

Send Gravity Forms Notifications With Mailgun

The Gravity Forms Mailgun Add-On gives you the ability to use the Mailgun transactional email service to send and track emails generated by Gravity Forms.

After installing and configuring the Mailgun Add-On, all emails that are sent via Gravity Forms, such as form entry submission notifications, are delivered using the Mailgun service.

By default, your web server will handle sending the email notifications generated by Gravity Forms. However, sometimes web hosts can prevent these emails from being sent, either intentionally or due to incorrect configurations.

Furthermore, emails sent via a web server can be automatically deleted or flagged as spam by services like Gmail. This all reduces the chances of you and your visitors receiving notification emails related to form submissions at your site.

However, using a professional transactional email service like Mailgun reduces the risk of this happening. Not only that but as Mailgun has tracking functionality, you can see if the notification emails have been opened and if any links they contain have been clicked.

Thanks to its free plan, you can start using Mailgun to increase form email notification deliverability without spending any extra money.

Using the Mailgun Add-On is a great solution if you want to increase the chances of email notifications sent by Gravity Forms reaching their intended destinations.

Our guide to using Mailgun with Gravity Forms to send transactional emails covers this add-on in more depth.

Also, check out the Mailgun documentation for instructions on how this add-on works and how to set it up for your site.
