Survey Add-On Conditional Logic
Version 4.0 sees conditional logic added to all fields in the Gravity Forms Survey Add-On.
While this functionality has long been a key feature of Gravity Forms, it hasn’t been available for all the survey fields that come with the Survey Add-On up until now.
The survey fields that are available once you’ve installed the Survey Add-On include the Likert scale, rank, and rating fields. You can view the Survey Add-On documentation for the full details.
Thanks to the update, going forward, you’ll be able to use conditional logic with all these fields.
Adding conditional logic to the fields on a net promoter score (NPS) survey is one way to use this new functionality. For example, if a user selects a low score from a rating field on the survey, conditional logic can be used to then show personalized follow-up fields that ask the user for more information on their response.
As the fields that ask for further information are hidden by default, your forms appear shorter and less daunting. This improved user experience should lead to higher survey completion rates.
