gf-blog-cd-week-1One year ago today we launched the Gravity Forms Certified Developer Program. Packed with certified add-ons that can enhance and extend any form, this week we are pleased to celebrate ‘Certified Developer Week’ to mark the program’s one year anniversary!

The Certified Developer Program brings you the very best of the community add-ons, helping you to do more with Gravity Forms. When you purchase any of the Gravity Forms certified add-ons, you can be confident in the quality and security of the product, as well as the support offered from these third-party developers.

Let’s find out more about the developers and add-ons in this program, and how they can help you add new features and functionality to your forms…

Note: To celebrate Certified Developer Week (Monday 21st – Friday 25th, 2021), some of our developers are offering discounts on their products. Jump to the bottom of this article for more information on these limited time promotions.

The Gravity Forms Certified Developer Program

Gravity Forms certified add-ons are advanced solutions that can help you upgrade your forms and grow your business. The developers behind these third-party add-ons are valued and trusted members of our community, and their work is unrivaled when it comes to extending Gravity Forms.

During the first year of the Certified Developer Program, we have seen much collaboration between our certified developers and Gravity Forms, with a group focus on a number of different projects and ventures. These include…

  • Gravity Forms Certified Add-On Browser – With the introduction of the Certified Developer Program, we saw the launch of the Gravity Forms Certified Add-On browser. The Certified Add-on browser enables Gravity Forms customers to view the certified add-ons within their WordPress Admin, and click through to all of the certified developer websites to easily make a purchase.
  • Gravity Forms 2.5 – The release of Gravity Forms 2.5 saw all of our certified developers working hard on compatibility with this major update. Backwards compatibility, full integration into the product, and new documentation were all areas of focus, helping to ensure that add-ons continued to work smoothly with Gravity Forms after the launch.
  • Add-On Integration and Collaboration – The Certified Developer Program has created a pathway for collaboration between developers, which has ultimately led to more value for Gravity Forms customers. From deeper integration between certified add-ons, to pooling of resources, tutorials, and documentation, there has been much progress towards helping and supporting Gravity Forms users think outside of the box and create custom solutions for specific projects.

Let’s now find out more about each of the certified developers, what they offer, and where the past year has taken them…

Gravity Wiz

gravity-wizGravity Wiz provides a suite of 35+ handcrafted add-ons (Gravity Perks) which each provide a unique feature set. Combined, these perks can solve complex problems and skip the headaches and time-sinks of custom development.

Here’s a bit about what Gravity Wiz have been up to since joining the Certified Developer Program…

  • Gravity Forms 2.5 compatibility was a huge project for Gravity Wiz, seeing them update all their 35 perks to ensure both 2.5 and backwards compatibility. Their wide span of functionality also helped identify potential issues with Gravity Forms before it shipped to customers (thanks for the help GW!)
  • File Upload Pro was released in December and version 1.0 was published just this month. It’s a professional file uploader that improves the file upload experience not just for images but all file types. For images, it supports robust cropping options, auto-rotation, and image optimizations.
  • Randomizer was also released this year, helping to make randomizing your choices and removing bias a breeze. Randomizer also bypasses caching limitations, so choices are always random.

Check out this promotion from Gravity Wiz, running for the whole of Certified Developer Week (Monday 21st – Friday 25th, 2021)…

Gravity Flow

Gravity Flow FI

Gravity Flow helps you to build custom WordPress workflows to automate your form-based business processes.

By creating customizable workflows with the plugin, you can automate approvals and inputs on each entry of every form created with Gravity Forms. As a Gravity Flow customer, you’ll love the ability to easily implement workflows yourself, as it will give you direct control over the whole process. It will also mean you can tweak and update processes as necessary without complex coding or the need for third-party support.

Being based on WordPress and Gravity Forms also means that data is being handled directly and securely on your servers, removing any data security or access worries. It’s also got a fixed yearly cost irrespective of the amount of users or forms used, meaning your business does not need to spend more as it grows! Gravity Flow’s third-party integrations, such as HelpScout, WooCommerce, Stripe, and Zapier help make it even more powerful, ready to scale and adapt to your business’ success.

In 2020, Gravity Flow saw a 70% renewal rate in licenses, the highest since the launch of the product in 2015. Gravity Flow’s founder, Steven Henty, said the company does two things to achieve that 70% renewal rate on licenses: making a great product and providing outstanding customer support.

As part of Certified Developer Week, Gravity Flow is offering an exclusive $50 off their Ultimate License! Use CDWEEK2021 at checkout to get your discount! (Monday 21st – Friday 25th, 2021 only).
