What’s New From Gravity Forms?

2021 has seen unprecedented changes, both to Gravity Forms the product and Rocketgenius the company. Adaptation and innovation have been the focus of the last year, with a major product update in the shape of Gravity Forms 2.5, the release of a number of new add-ons, and the launch of our new website alongside a complete brand refresh.

And coupled with our upcoming Black Friday Sale, there has never been a better time to join our community.

Let’s take a closer look at what’s been going on with Gravity Forms…

Gravity Forms 2.5

Gravity Forms v2.5 has been at the heart of all product developments throughout 2021. The release of 2.5 was long anticipated by our customers, and it didn’t disappoint. With new features and functionality across the board, 2.5 introduced a beautifully redesigned form editor UI and intuitive drag-and-drop column control, providing a modern look and feel with new streamlined ways of working.

Alongside the form editor refresh, 2.5 also had a key focus on accessibility. Providing our community with the tools to fulfill their form-building requirements is always a top priority for all of our team here at Gravity Forms, and we are delighted that with Gravity Forms 2.5 users now have the ability to easily create accessible forms that are WCAG 2.1 AA compliant.

Gravity Forms Add-Ons

Alongside the development of our core plugin, the Gravity Forms Product team has also worked tirelessly to create, develop, and support an array of new and existing add-ons.

Some of the major developments to our add-on stack include…

  • Advanced Post Creation Add-On – The official launch of the Advanced Post Creation Add-On, saw APC throw off its ‘beta’ label, and become a fully-fledged Gravity Forms Add-On, allowing customers to easily automate the publishing of user-submitted content to their sites.
  • PayPal Checkout – The Gravity Forms PayPal Commerce Platform Add-On changed its name, gained new features, and became PayPal Checkout – now our #1 PayPal Add-On.
  • Square Add-On – With a major update to our Square Add-On, as well as accepting one-time payments, customers can now set up subscriptions, authorize a payment on a user’s card but not capture that payment until a later date, and even refund a payment – all from within Gravity Forms Entries in WordPress Admin.

New Website and Brand Refresh

Both Rocketgenius and Gravity Forms have received a complete brand refresh that does both justice to our powerful form builder while reflecting the integrity and authenticity of our company.

And with the new website, alongside stunning aesthetics, we’ve introduced new and improved customer workflows, providing a superior user experience that helps our community to easily navigate the site. From support and account needs, to information about add-ons and resources on the blog, you’ll find everything you need to help you on your form building journey

“Gravity Forms has been our go-to form plugin for WordPress for a few years now. It has plenty of pre-built integrations, a cost-effective price plan, and is easily extendible if there is not a current add-on. Great customer support, and great community behind the program.” (Angelo S)

Gravity Forms is chock full of great features that I use across all of my websites. It’s easy to use and allows you to fully customize the look and behavior of your forms with CSS. My favorite feature is conditional logic, which lets you create intelligent forms that dynamically change depending on what the user selects.” (Jeremy C).

“Best contact form plugin on the market.” (Daniel K)

Gravity Forms has the best combination of features and ease-of-use. It has FANTASTIC documentation, and as a WordPress developer, it makes it easy for me to make any customizations that I need.” (Nick R).
