Gravity Forms Summit

The Gravity Forms Summit is an event that I wish had been available when I ran my WordPress agency. Or at least, that’s what I’m hoping it will be for you in 2024.

I’ll be the first to admit, we moved rather quickly through the planning and launch of the 2023 Summit, in an attempt to get our Minimal Viable Product (MVP)—or “first version”—of the annual event out into the world before the end of the year. Though the early feedback we’ve received from customers and Certified Developers indicates we were on to something great with our first livestream.
 

 

Gravity Forms was an integral part of my WordPress agency, but I lacked the comprehensive knowledge of how I could position the feature set and support Gravity Forms had to offer. For example:

  • How could I connect the dots between the Hubspot Add-On and finding more customers that had Hubspot accounts?
  • If I was building a bespoke solution for customers, how could I get commercial-grade outsourced support from Gravity Experts?
  • What features from around the Gravity Ecosystem could I leverage to offer a more complete solution for my customers?

Most of us chose WordPress because it’s open-source and it has a massive community of experts you can lean on. Gravity Forms mirrors this pattern with a host of industry experts and 3rd party add-ons that make it the trusted plugin it is.

Part of my role in 2023’s Gravity Summit was to wrangle the knowledge from our vast ecosystem and break it down into an engaging online summit for our WordPress agency customers.

Gravity Summit 2023

There were a lot of great moments during the 3 hour+ Gravity Summit livestream this year. If you’re a WordPress agency owner, I encourage you to queue up the video on our YouTube channel. If 3 hours is too long for you, feel free to skip around using the chapters we created. Here are some of the valuable takeaways you can expect from viewing the 2023 Summit:

  • How Gravity Forms can scale with your business – Each session demonstrated a feature or tangible value-add from the presenter. If you’re in the early stages of your WordPress agency, you might be building basic websites that only require a simple contact form. As your business grows, you begin to add CRM functionality or integrate with Stripe.
  • Managing Client Expectations – Almost all of the sessions touched on dealing with client expectations. From budget expectations to support requirements, the Gravity Forms ecosystem is uniquely positioned to meet or exceed your expectations when delivering unique WordPress solutions to your clients.
  • The Future of Gravity Forms Features – Stick around to the end of the Summit (or skip ahead to the chapter) and you can get a glimpse of what we’re working on for new products like Gravity SMTP headed into 2024.

My favorite Gravity Summit experience were the 10 minute Q&A sessions at the end of each presentation. This is an area I hope to expand in the Gravity Summit 2024 edition. I have a few ideas like live workshops or the famous “hallway chat” experience many of us enjoy at WordCamps.
