Form Templates at Your Fingertips

 
Building new forms has never been easier with the new Gravity Forms 2.7 built-in template library. Our pre-made form templates (previously only provided via our website) are now offered directly within Gravity Forms when a new form creation process is initiated.

The form template library boasts some of our most popular types of forms, and of course they are all fully customizable, providing a great jumping-off point for beginners and experienced users alike.

Within the form template library, you’ll be able to choose from a selection of quick-start templates to help you to get your forms up and running on your site fast. These include:

• Contact Forms
• Newsletter Signup Form
• Request a Quote Form
• Contest Entry Form
• Webinar Registration Form

Equally, you can opt for any of the more advanced templates that utilize our extensive collection of add-ons to cater to all your business needs. Examples include:

• Ecommerce Stripe Form
• Ecommerce PayPal Form
• Donation Form
• Survey
• User Registration

No more confusion on how to get started with a new form, or need to re-build forms from scratch for each new website – simply choose the template that most closely resembles your project brief, and then get customizing or publish as-is!

Get Started with the Form Template Library

Our intuitive form template library ships with 2.7, and will be immediately available once you update the plugin.

To get started with a new form template, within your WordPress dashboard select Forms > New Forms. You will then be presented with the new form template library.

Here you can browse the library and preview each of the templates on the Gravity Forms website. Once you’ve made a decision on which template best matches your form needs, simply select Use Template.

You will be asked to give your form a name, and description if desired, and then the template will open within the form editor.

Depending your needs and the template you’ve chosen, you can now either publish the form as-is, or customize it within the form editor.

As mentioned, all the templates are totally customizable – within the form editor you can easily add, edit, or delete any of the form fields, by simply dragging and dropping them into and around the editor canvas. And you can also configure each of the fields’ settings, enabling you to customize the form to your specific requirements.

Importantly, if you are using a template that requires an add-on (for example, a payment form, survey, or user registration form) you will need to install and configure the appropriate add-on before publishing the form on your site.

Update to Gravity Forms 2.7 Today!

Gravity Forms 2.7 is now available to ALL customers with an active license!

To update to 2.7, open your WordPress Admin, head over to your plugins page, and click to Update to Gravity Forms 2.7.

Gravity Forms 2.7 can also be downloaded from within your Gravity Forms dashboard.

And of course, the latest version of Gravity Forms is available to all new customers. Simply head over to our pricing page to pick the right plan for your form building needs and make a purchase.

Note: Caching and script optimization plugins and services have been known to cause problems with the functionality of forms when Gravity Forms is updated to the latest version. To counter this issue, we recommend clearing/flushing the caches and the browser cache following all updates.
